Prescriptions

Ordering repeat prescriptions

The practice would like repeat prescriptions to be ordered directly from the practice to ensure this process is accurate and avoids waste.

The easiest way to order repeat prescriptions is:

  • Request online via your online services account

We cannot take repeat prescription requests over the phone neither can Northbrook Pharmacy take telephone requests for drugs, this is due to patient safety we kindly request all patients to adhere to the above statement. If you are housebound or are recovering from an operation / illness requests will be taken over the telephone by the receptionist at the surgery.

Collecting your prescription

Your prescription will be ready for collection 48 hours later.

You will need to choose a pharmacy to collect your prescription from. We call this nominating a pharmacy.

You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time:

  • on the app or website where you order repeat prescriptions
  • at your GP practice
  • at any pharmacy that accepts repeat prescriptions
